Our tiny rent house could not have withstood a Trinity Heights canned goods pounding. Thanks for varying from the norm and blessing us Cheniers with a Love Offering. Your generosity has deeply blessed us and your love and heart felt compassion for us has blessed us even more. Your love for God is evident in your living and in your giving. After being in an area severely damaged by Katrina and being surrounded by destroyed homes, destroyed lives, depression and despair, your embrace has been deeply felt and appreciated. My family and I love you and are so thankful that God has put us all together.

We celebrated Chip Johnson’s Deacon Ordination and welcome him as our newest Deacon. He, Pam, Laramie and Colton have been a blessing to our church family for many years. We also celebrate your giving to our “New Organ Fund.” Our old organ has issues and is beyond repair. Your generous gifts have enabled us to purchase a new one. The new organ will give us many new sounds and will take several months to be built. We will schedule it to be delivered after Phase III is completed. There again, thanks for your generous giving to make this possible. Phase III renovations involve lighting, pews, carpet, etc. in our Sanctuary and Foyer. We all have our favorite colors and themes. These days, I am very partial to Purple, Gold and Tigers, but I am praying for our committee to make the best recommendation. I will keep you informed when it is time to vote. The Amazing Grace series continues, so join us for a life touching, life changing, teaching of Romans, Sunday mornings and nights at Trinity Heights. To you, our newest members, we welcome you to Trinity Heights and look forward to all God has in store.
